My story, their words
"I'd been at the Daily for a month. There wasn't a soccer game I didn't want to cover. It all just felt so natural."
It's hard to put the feeling of discovering your own talent into words.
But when I started writing for the Daily, it felt like I'd found something I was meant to do. For the first time, my words — and my thoughts — would spill onto a page without conscious thought. It was freeing.

And like falling in love, there is a moment when you just know.

That moment came quickly for me. It came quickly for Jack, too.

And since writing about that sensation can be difficult, I thought Jack's words may do it better justice.
